  DRUGS OFFENCES

Importation and possession with intent to supply class A drugs are serious prevalent offences, requiring a range of specialised forensic skills. There are also often attendant confiscation and POCA issues.

These offences often involve extensive, detailed evidence such as mobile telephone cell site analysis and differing cultural circumstances surrounding the suspects. Chambers has expertise in both prosecuting and defending in this area of law, be it in HM Revenue and Customs, CPS or SOCA prosecutions.

Chambers can provide counsel with a range of experience at every level of drug importation and supply, from ‘street dealers’ through to complex international conspiracies. Furthermore, Chambers’ barristers can deal effectively and incisively with post conviction confiscation hearings.
